In spring 2008, we got together for an historic event: the Wheeling Nailers Moondog Bobblehead Night. We received our Moondog Bobbleheads that later spanned the globe via eBay without waiting in line for 2 hours before the game. Then we did the same thing in 2009, just without Moondog's oversight.
In trying to think how we could bring it this year, we decided to do up the FREE!
Courtesy of our friends at Carenbauer Distributing, we're able to offer our members a free ticket to root on the Nailers against the Kalamazoo Wings on Saturday, March 20. But wait, it gets better.
The evening starts at River City, where our good friends will be kindly putting out apps for you to munch on at no charge. The bar and restaurant will be open for you to purchase any drinks or dinner. Get there any time between 6:00 and 7:15 to pick up your ticket and do some networking / socializing.
When you enter, we'll give you a ticket to use on a free drink of your choice - pop, beer, wine, shot, whatever. Just no top-shelf, California-style $20 drinks or we will hunt you down.
The game starts at 7:35 and you're free to go anytime after stopping by River City to get your ticket. If you cannot make it there by 7:15 for some reason, please let us know so that we can make other arrangements.
Free Ticket, Free Appetizers, and Free Drink make three, which is pretty good, but let's make it even better. Members - as you can with any event - can use two free passes to bring along two non-members at no charge. Plus, this is a kid-friendly event and all kids can attend at no charge.
