OVConnect Board

Here is a little bit of information about the OVConnect board of directors.

Erin Carenbauer Ball

Erin holds the position of Special Projects Manager for Carenbauer Distributing Corporation. From her start at Carenbauer Distributing, she has been actively involved with numerous aspects of the company, defining her title of ‘Special Projects.’ She participates in and oversees sales and marketing, public relations, advertising, and daily operations of the company. She aids in the strategic execution of marketing and public relations activities that inform the community on responsible drinking practices, product benefits, and the company’s objectives.

Erin is a graduate from West Virginia University with a degree in advertising. She resides in Wheeling with her husband and son.


J. Christopher Gardill

J. Christopher Gardill is a member of the law firm of Phillips, Gardill, Kaiser & Altmeyer, PLLC, and focuses his practice on banking law, secured transactions law and commercial law. He has been designated as a Peer Review Rated attorney from Martindale-Hubbell.

Chris received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Marietta College in 1998. He earned his law degree from West Virginia University in 2002. While at West Virginia, Chris was a member of the West Virginia Law Review and served as Senior Managing Editor in 2001-2002. Chris also earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2003.

In addition to serving on OVConnect’s Board, he is a member of the WV State Bar Young Lawyers Section Executive Committee, and is currently serving a term as the Chairman of the Section. Chris also serves on the Board of Directors of several other area nonprofit organizations, including Appalachian Outreach, Inc., a Glen Dale based outreach organization, and the King’s Daughters Childcare Center, Inc., a daycare and pre-school organization in Wheeling.

Chris resides in Wheeling with his wife, Jodie, and their three children, Kaleb, Brenna and Darcie. Avid dog lovers, the Gardills share their home with their Airedale Terrier, Phin.


Jeremy J. Lowe

Jeremy J. Lowe, a Certified Financial Planner® and wealth advisor with McKinley Carter Wealth Services, has worked in the financial services industry since 1999. He is a cum laude graduate of Robert Morris University with a degree in Finance and Economics. Currently, Jeremy serves on the audit committee and board of directors for the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley, on the board of directors and as scholarship chairman for the Kiwanis Club of Wheeling Kiwanis, and on the board of directors for OVConnect. Jeremy and his wife Amanda live in Wheeling with their children Jack and Andrea.


Melissa Marco

Melissa Marco is the Director of Marketing, Public Relations and Volunteer Services for Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale. She graduated from West Liberty Sate College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and from West Virginia University with a Master of Science Degree in Public Administration with a concentration in healthcare. Melissa is a Board Member for the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce, is President of the Local School Improvement Council at Glen Dale Elementary School, serves on the Board of Directors for the Reynolds Memorial Hospital Credit Union, and is a member of the Anti-Smoking Coalition of Marshall County.


Tim McKeen

Tim McKeen currently serves as the President of OVConnect Inc. He is an attorney in the Wheeling office of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC, where he practices energy law. He is also the treasurer of Generation West Virginia, West Virginia’s young talent organization. In addition to those duties, he serves on the boards of Elmhurst, the Wheeling Rotary Club, the Regional Economic Development Partnership, and the Martins Ferry First Christian Church. He and his wife Lindsay live in St. Clairsville, Ohio.


Chad Remp

Chad Remp is the operations manager of Wheeling Truck Center Inc., and general manager of Lobster Truck Leasing & Rental, Inc..  Chad is the 4th generation in the family business founded by his great-grandfater.  He is a graduate of Miami University with a bachelors degree in General Business, West Virginia University with a MBA, and the American Truck Dealers Association Dealer Academy.

Chad lives in Wheeling WV with his wife Jamie and 2 children.
